International English Language Testing System (IELTS) play vital role while study in any foreign country, as it’s world leading test which decides either you are capable for international higher educations, immigration and employment or not. It checks your English frequency and level. IELTS test formats. There are four types of levels in IELTS.

IELTS Speaking

This test is based on oral interview between you and examiner. Mostly the question will be real life situated. So, you need to build up your confident level where all your speaking test are recorded.

Test format :

The IELTS Speaking test takes 11-14 minutes.

  • At first, they will ask of your introduction
  • Then in second part they ask general questions on some familiar topics such as home, family, work, studies and interests.
  • In third part they ask for same topic in different way.

Note: It is necessary to remember what you speak on 2 level because same que may be ask on third level to see your confident and skill power.

IELTS Writing

IT is 60 minutes task that you need to complete it.

There are 2 types of task :

  • You need to presented with a graph, table, chart or diagram, asked for describe or summarize it. You need spend 20 minutes on task 1.
  • You will be  given  essay writing in response to a point of  view, argument or  problem. You need to complete task on 40 minutes.

Note: All answer should be on written in answer sheet. Examiner will provide you all necessary materials like pen pencil, eraser etc.

IELTS Reading

Reading components consist of question where you need to complete task on 60 minutes by reading the given paragraph. It tests the capable of reading for detail, skimming, understanding logical argument.

This test format inlcudes somewhere extracts from books, magazines, newspapers, notices, advertisements, company handbooks and guidelines.

There are 3 sections on reading task :

  • In task one there contains two or three short factual texts.
  • In task 2 comprises two texts.
  • In task 3, there is one long text.The question pattern will be multiple choice, identifying information, identifying writer’s views/claims, matching, completion, short-answer questions.

Note: Care about your time, test takers are required to transfer their answers to an answer sheet during the time allowed for the test. No extra time is allowed for transfer.

IELTS Listening

Listening components consist 40 question which 30 minutes is for approximately listening and 10 minutes transfer to answer in answer sheet.Question formats are basically of 6 different tasks.

  • Multiple choice
  • Matching
  • Plan, map, diagram labelling
  • Form, note, table, flow-chart, summary completion
  • Sentence completion
  • Short answer questions

Note: While writing answers on the answer sheet as poor spelling and grammar are careful for that. IELTS results will be published on 13 days.
